Paul Nowlan
Managing Director / General Manager Scheduling & Staff Relationships
As Co-owner of Compatible Care with Helen Nowlan, Paul oversees the governance of the family business as Managing Director. Paul joined Compatible Care as part of the day to day operations in 2015. Paul is responsible for staff relationships, day to day client relationships and scheduling. His customer focus and strong emphasis on continuity of care with all bookings demonstrates his core values of ‘Working Harmoniously Together’. Paul’s dedication and commitment to our clients shines through in all aspects of his role as director. A mix of humour and integrity in his business approach is welcomed by our clients.

Helen Nowlan
Co-owner / Chief Executive Officer
Helen commenced in the business at its inception, originally with her mother, Mrs Trish Gloede. Helen and Trish created the foundation that is Compatible Care from Trish’s experience of working in the aged care sector for much of her nursing career. Helen & Trish developed Compatible Care with these core values in mind.
Since 2015 Helen has followed in Trish’s footsteps as CEO. With 18 years in senior business development and management, Helen has used her skills in systems development to ensure the business has kept pace with clinical and compliance reform.
Helen is passionate about ensuring all staff working in the sector are specially trained to meet the needs of older people. She is active in the sector and advocates on issues impacting care, including workforce availability & training.
Helen has been inspired by Trish to also formalise her care qualifications and is part way through her Registered Nursing qualifications.

Shari Callum
Finance & Operations Manager
Shari’s background in accounts administration and office management span over 30 years. Shari’s committment to the community by actively participating on a voluntary basis with Sporting clubs as Treasurer, Secretary and general committee involvement aligns to our Compatible Care values. Shari and the operations team at Compatible Care are focussed on high level customer service, accurate systems input and a friendly and professional voice at the end of the phone.

Andrea Jacobsz (nee Miller)
Senior Physiotherapist and Allied Health Lead
Andrea is an experienced Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience working with clients of all ages in private practice, as well as a providing physiotherapy services for aged care in residential facilities and homecare environments. Andrea is passionate about providing professional, high-quality and effective physiotherapy services for her clients with experience, compassion and care. Her goal is to help restore her clients to their highest level of function by providing a service tailored to their individual needs, and she is passionate about educating her clients about their body to ensure that they leave her care with the tools and knowledge to optimise their health and prevent future injury/ recurrence.
Andrea’s special interests include women’s health, pre- and post-natal care, paediatrics, neurorehabilitation, aged care, chronic pain management, sports injury management and active rehabilitation. Andrea is a trained Pilates instructor and has a background in dance with a special interest in providing physiotherapy and pre-pointe assessments for dancers. Andrea is also a level 3 Manual Handling Trainer under the AAMP and provides training to allied health staff, carers and families regarding safe and respectful manual handling of patients in the aged care and disability sectors.
In her down-time, Andrea enjoys hiking, going to the beach, pilates, reading, photography and spending quality time with friends and family.
