Helen commenced in the business at its inception, originally with her mother, Mrs Trish Gloede. Helen and Trish created the foundation that is Compatible Care from Trish's experience of working in the aged care sector for much of her nursing career. Helen & Trish developed Compatible Care with these core values in mind.
Since 2015 Helen has followed in Trish's footsteps as CEO. With 18 years in senior business development and management, Helen has used her skills in systems development to ensure the business has kept pace with clinical and compliance reform.
Helen is passionate about ensuring all staff working in the sector are specially trained to meet the needs of older people. She is active in the sector and advocates on issues impacting care, including workforce availability & training.
Helen has been inspired by Trish to also formalise her care qualifications and is part way through her Registered Nursing qualifications.
